Transparent Policies & Tuition

We believe in clear communication from the start.

At WordWise, we believe clear expectations and open communication are the foundation of a successful partnership between families and educators. Our policies are designed to protect your child’s progress, ensure consistency in therapy, and help you plan ahead with confidence.

Tuition Model

WordWise Literacy operates on a monthly tuition model rather than charging per session. This structure ensures your child has a consistent schedule, reserved therapy time, and uninterrupted access to the individualized instruction they need to thrive. Tuition includes:

  • Reserved one-on-one or small group therapy time each week

  • Individualized lesson planning and preparation before every session

  • Progress monitoring and reporting every 4–6 weeks

  • Ongoing parent communication and support for at-home learning strategies

  • Advocacy and guidance for school accommodations when needed

Tuition is billed monthly in advance and remains the same each month regardless of calendar variations. This model helps maintain predictable scheduling, stability for your child’s learning, and allows us to commit to their long-term success.

Attendance & Commitment

Consistent attendance is vital to making measurable progress. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions each week, as the frequency and regularity of therapy are key factors in building lasting reading skills.

If a cancellation is necessary, we will make every effort to offer a make-up session within the same month. Because therapy schedules are carefully planned in advance, make-up sessions are offered based on availability and may be limited.

Session Structure

Each therapy session follows a structured, multisensory format based on the Take Flight program. Instruction is tailored to your child’s individual needs, informed by ongoing assessment and observation.

Progress Monitoring

Every 4–6 weeks, we provide updates on your child’s growth, including assessment data and observations from therapy. These progress reports help us make timely adjustments to instruction and keep you informed and engaged in your child’s journey.

Parent Partnership

We view parents as essential partners in their child’s reading success. In addition to therapy sessions, we provide practical strategies you can use at home to reinforce skills, answer your questions, and offer guidance on working with your child’s school to ensure the right supports are in place.

Our goal is simple: to give your child the skills, confidence, and support they need to become a strong, independent reader — and to give you the clarity and peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly how we’ll get there together.
